This weekend I attended my sister-in-law’s baby shower and it was amazing! Decor, food, friends, family…it checked all the boxes. There were so many friendly faces and even more than one baby-bump. The table was set under an umbrella of tall trees that kept everyone just cool enough to function. It was a bright sunny and hot day in Franschoek.
Nadine was surrounded by friends that has been by her side for almost 15 years, if I am not mistaken. Kind words flowed about my sis who deserved every word. She is already a wonderful mom to a baby girl with a crackerjack personality. Little Mienke will come into this world wanted and cared for. Her sister will by default be her lifelong battle buddy and best friend. She will want for nothing in a house filled with love. Is there any greater gift?
